SMOKE
"Before training, my Cane Corso struggled with over-excitement and reactivity, really bad. He did not understand right from wrong, so during moments when he needed to be calm, he would lose his mind, and it was concerning — very hard to calm him down. There were times when I felt there was nothing I could do to make it better. After his first couple of sessions with Paul, the change was immediate — he started relating behaviors with reward/punishment in order for us to communicate better. Now, after 4 weeks of training, Smoke (my cane corso) understands right from wrong and knows that calm is good. I can easily take him to the store or around people, and I can redirect him easily. Money well spent!"

"Our dog Moosey is scared of everything. I asked Paul for help to build her confidence and to teach her to obey basic commands on our walks. He made a training plan to gain Moosey’s trust by mixing playing with walking and training. His plan worked. Our daily walks are better for both of us. There is great improvement in her behavior! "Paul has done incredible work with our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Izzy, and we highly recommend his dog training services. He worked diligently with Izzy in preparation for her AKC Canine Good Citizen Test, which she passed with flying colors. Izzy continues to return to Paul for refresher training and maintenance of her skills. Paul played an integral role in preparing Izzy to become an active member of Go Team Therapy Dogs, an international therapy dog organization that provides support in a variety of settings, including crisis response. Izzy also serves as a HosPet with Frederick Health Hospice, providing comfort and companionship to patients and families. We are excited to be working with Paul again as we begin training our new Cavalier puppy, Finn. His knowledge, patience, and commitment to both the dog and owner have been invaluable. "Paul is a true dog whisperer. We had a high-energy, strong-willed Type A Shih Tzu puppy determined to do everything his way. Reactive biting, aggressive mouthing, fear, and anxiety had turned everyday life into a battle. Paul’s program completely reprogrammed our little guy. The aggression is gone. He now takes commands, calmly accepts grooming, and is a completely different dog. Paul started with private in-home sessions, then brought the whole family in so we were all consistent and on the same page. The results speak for themselves. What a luxury to have training in your dog’s home environment rather than a facility, mass cafeteria-style approach. It’s a difference maker! We can’t thank Paul enough.
